Step by step
Say the change
Be specific about the number or the question: "Change the tear-off fee from $1.50 to $1.75 per sq ft."
Check it
ChatGPT confirms and shows the updated form. Try one quote to see the new number.
Publish the change
If you saved tests, publishing re-runs them first. If a test now fails because the price genuinely changed, update the test: "The first test total is now $9,200."
Nothing else to do
Same link, same dashboard. Customers who open it now get the new version; old replies keep the numbers they had at the time.
The words to say
Copy this into ChatGPT (with CalcForms added) and fill in the brackets.
"On the [form name] form: [change the X rate to Y / add a question for Z / rename the button to W]. Publish it."
What you will see
A one-line confirmation, the updated form, and a new version number in your dashboard. Old replies show which version they came from.
Common mistakes
- Building a second form for a small change. Change the one you have; the link is what customers have saved.
- Forgetting to publish. Changes to a live form go live when you say "publish"; until then they are a draft.
