Quote calculator for your website: build it from your prices, then link it from your site

Last updated 2 November 2026

About 10 minutesNo codeFree ChatGPT account works

A quote calculator lets a visitor answer a few questions and see a price before they contact you. With CalcForms you build it in ChatGPT from the spreadsheet or price rules you already use, give it your website's colors, and publish it. The form lives at its own link, such as forms.badabingapp.cc/yourname/quote, and a "Get a quote" button or link on your website opens it.

Step by step

  1. Add CalcForms to ChatGPT

Open the CalcForms app page in ChatGPT and click Install plugin. Sign in with your email when asked; we send a 6-digit code. A free ChatGPT account works.

  2. Give it your prices

Start a new chat. Attach your .xlsx or paste the Google Sheets link, and say what it is in one line. If you have no spreadsheet, say your prices the way you would to a new employee: "I clean windows. $8 per standard window, $14 per large, plus $40 call-out."

  3. Say what the customer should see, then test it

Tell ChatGPT which cells are questions for the customer and which are yours: "The customer enters roof size, material and pitch. Show them the total only." Type in a quote you already know the answer to and compare, then say "publish it" and share the link.

  4. Make it look like your website

Say "Look at mysite.com and use its colors and font," then "Make the button say Get my free quote." Open the link and ask for changes in plain words until it matches.

  5. Put the link on your website

Ask ChatGPT "what is the link?" It looks like forms.badabingapp.cc/yourname/quote. Add it to a "Get a quote" button or link on your website, and to your email signature or quote emails.

The words to say

Copy this into ChatGPT (with CalcForms added) and fill in the brackets.

Say this to ChatGPT

"Build me a quote calculator for my website from [my spreadsheet, or these prices: ...]. The customer fills in [the inputs]. Show them only [the total]. Use the colors and font from [your website]. Then publish it and give me the link."

What you will see

A form at its own link, in your website's colors, with a live total that updates as the customer types. Every reply reaches you with the calculations done: in ChatGPT, or in the web portal on Pro.

Questions about a quote calculator for your website

Do my website visitors need ChatGPT or an account?
No. They open the link in their browser and fill in the form, with no account. ChatGPT is only where you build it.
Where do the quotes go?
Every reply is in ChatGPT and, on Pro, in the web portal, with the customer's answers, every calculation and their email. You also get an email for each reply.
Will customers see my margin?
The customer sees only the numbers you name. Your margin and cost basis are still calculated and come to you with each reply; they are never shown on the form.
Can it use the formulas in my spreadsheet?
Yes. Paste the spreadsheet into ChatGPT and CalcForms keeps your logic as the form's calculations. Your sheet's formulas work as they do in the sheet. A function CalcForms does not have is named when the form is built, not guessed.
What does CalcForms cost?
Building and running forms in ChatGPT is free, with unlimited forms and replies and no card. The web portal, with the dashboard, insights and exports, is Pro. 1 day free, then $12.99 a month, billed monthly. Card required. Cancel any time; Pro stays on until the month ends.
