Set up CalcForms in ChatGPT (or Claude)

Works with a free ChatGPT account. Works in Claude too. You sign in to CalcForms once with your email.

Step 1 — Pick where you chat

Step 2 — Add CalcForms

Opens the CalcForms app page in ChatGPT. A free ChatGPT account works. If it asks you to sign in first, sign in and click the link again.

Click Add, then Connect. Sign in with your email; we send a 6-digit code. Type it in and you're done. Back in ChatGPT, start a new chat and say "build me a quote calculator" or paste your spreadsheet.

Can't see the app? Add it by hand

Open chatgpt.com and sign in.

Click your profile (top-right) → Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → turn on Developer mode.

Back on the connectors page, click Create. Name it CalcForms, paste https://forms.badabingapp.cc into MCP Server URL, keep Authentication: OAuth, click Create.

Click Connect and sign in with your email (6-digit code). In a chat, open the Tools menu and switch CalcForms on.

Open the Add custom connector dialog in Claude →

This link opens the window directly. If Claude asks you to sign in first, sign in and click the link again.

Fill the two boxes exactly like this:

Name: Calcforms · URL: https://forms.badabingapp.cc

Click Add, then click Connect. A browser tab opens — sign in with your email (we'll send a 6-digit code). When you're back in Claude, CalcForms shows as Connected. You're done.

Step 3 — Build your first form

Open a new chat and try any of these:

"Build a mortgage calculator" "Make a freelance quote form with tax" "Tip calculator that splits by N people" "ROI form with payback period"

Your forms appear in your dashboard. Each gets a shareable URL like forms.badabingapp.cc/you/your-form.

Troubleshooting

The "Add to ChatGPT" button does nothing

Sign in to ChatGPT first, then click the button again. If the app page still doesn't load, use the "Add it by hand" steps under the ChatGPT tab above.

I don't see "Connectors" in Claude

Open Settings, then Connectors. If it's missing, update the Claude app. On a work account, your admin may need to allow custom connectors in workspace settings.

A sign-in window opened but nothing happened

Disable any popup blockers for forms.badabingapp.cc, then click Connect again. Sign in with your email — we'll send a one-time 6-digit code (check spam if it doesn't arrive in 30 seconds).

The model says "I don't have access to that tool"

Just mention CalcForms by name in your first message ("use CalcForms to build…"). In ChatGPT you can also open the Tools menu and switch CalcForms on for that chat.

Where are my submissions?

Your dashboard lives at /admin. Sign in with the same email you used when you connected. Each form's replies, invites, and spreadsheet exports live there.
